Email Options


The "Options" section provides customization settings for email behavior and appearance within the EducoSoft system. Here’s a breakdown of the features:


1. Appearance Settings:

  • Default Sort Order:
    • Allows users to control the order in which messages appear in their inbox.
    • In this example, "Newer Messages First" is selected, ensuring the most recent emails are shown at the top.
  • Default Message Format:
    • Users can select the format for composing and viewing emails.
    • The current selection is HTML, which supports rich-text formatting (e.g., bold text, images, and emojis).


2. Default Operations:

  • Send a Copy of Mails by Regular E-mail:
    • When enabled, this option forwards a copy of emails to the user’s external email, keeping them updated without needing to log in.
  • Save Outgoing Messages:
    • Ensures that sent emails are stored for future reference (similar to the Sent Items folder).


3.  Add Signature to All Outgoing Messages:

    • This option, if enabled, ensures that the user’s signature is automatically appended to all emails.
    • A separate Signature Settings section is visible, where users can customize their signature using a rich-text editor.


Purpose and Use Case:


This Options menu offers comprehensive control over email communication, ensuring that:

  • Emails are well-organized and properly formatted.
  • Important messages are backed up through external email or saved copies.
  • A consistent signature is attached to every message, maintaining a professional tone.
